What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 4x4, or 16 square feet, to 20x20, or 400 square feet. Determining the right size is easy with the help of our online size estimator or call us on 0845 450 6900 & one of our Store personnel will help you determine the correct size. Using their extensive knowledge, they will also be able to give you a few hints & tips that will help you to save money.
What are the payment terms?
Aabsolute Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are on a 4 weekly rolling basis. We also offer the flexibility of storing from a minimum of 1 week to long-term leases which could be subject to extra incentives. We also offer AutoPay. We can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa®, Visa Debit®, or Switch/Maestro® each month. Additionally you can pay by cheque or cash instore.
How far in advance can I book a reservation?
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation 'Risk Free' up to 6 months in advance to help you plan ahead.
Do you offer car/van/ commercial vehicle parking?
Aabsolute Self Storage offers parking for RV’s, cars, food vans, trucks, and most commercial vehicles within our secure parking site at Lairds Business Centre. Electricity points are available on request.
Do you have CCTV?
All Aabsolute Storage facilities use cctv cameras as a security measure. Cameras are generally located at the point of entry and exit and other areas around the facility. The number of cameras and the type of system that is installed at each facility will vary based on the design of the facility.
Can I buy boxes and other packing products from Aabsolute Storage?
Yes. All Aabsolute facilities offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies at very competitive rates with discounts for bulk purchases.
What is self storage?
Self-Storage is a quick, easy and convenient way to find extra storage space. We accept both domestic, business & student users and we provide a clean, dry, secure storage where you will have easy access to your goods seven days a week.
Q. What about insurance?
As a condition of storage all goods/possessions stored have to be insured. We will arrange this on the day you move in & all we need from you is the true replacement value. The cost of the insurance is 75p per £1000 per week. Business customers can use their own cover provided we get proof of cover.
Do you provide removal / van hire?
Yes. Depending on how long you are looking to store, we can offer you the use of our own Luton Van & driver to help with your move in. You are responsible for the loading & unloading at both ends. We can provide you with removal/van hire firms that we have been using for many years now and we can offer a special discounted rate due to our partnership with them.
Do you accept deliveries to my unit?
We will accept deliveries for our customers provided we hold your written consent to do so. We will contact you when the goods have arrived but you remain responsible for placing the goods into your storage unit.
Can I move in today?
Yes, all we require is 2 forms of ID, your initial 4 weeks rent & a returnable security deposit. Remember to leave suffiecient time to get your goods unloaded & in to your individual storage room.
What can’t I store?
Except for the following exemptions we accept all goods:
1.Food or perishable goods
2.Animals of any sort
3.Combustible or flammable materials
4.Explosives, weapons or ammunition
5.Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents
6.Toxic waste, asbestos
7.Any item which emits fumes, smell or odour
8.Any illegal substances, or goods illegally obtained
